My kids kept putting smoothies and juice and whatnot in other straw type cups/water bottles and I just couldn't clean them easily. I'd get frustrated and end up replacing parts a lot. These are easy to keep clean, fit wide straws easily, and are super durable. We have one for each of my kids in their color, and got this pretty blue to finish the set.My only caveat is sometimes the lid is hard to open- don't over tighten it!
